Southeastern Spitsbergen landscape-seascape and biodiversity dynamics under current climate warming
Right lateralice-cored moraine
Right lateral ice-cored moraine of Hambergbreen above the beach , formed between 1900 and 1936 and undercut by storm waves and thawing during summer, as evidenced by tongues of mud-flows in the foreground. The moraine was removed due to periodic water erosion at the point shown in the middle of the photo. In the background, the foot of the mountain under the protected ice-cored moraine. View from the southeast.
